As we race through shopping season, celebrate #GivingTuesday by making a tax-deductible contribution to Film and Video Studies. Every dollar goes to enriching the work of FAVS students and continuing to make FAVS a great resource for alumni. Scholarships, gear purchases, and software are just a few ways we've used program dollars this semester alone.

Make a secure donation here or visit our Donate to FAVS page to learn more about giving to attending a FAVS fundraising event or about giving to the two following categories:

Scholarship Support
FAVS awards at least five student scholarships a year and six monetary pitch awards. These scholarships go directly to support our emerging filmmakers through tuition scholarships or to supplement the expenses of creating their thesis work through pitch awards.

Program Support
Support for the FAVS program goes to equipment purchases including cameras, sound, and grip gear; travel for student filmmakers to regional festivals; sound and video editing software for Mac labs, and many other areas.
